School Year Prayer Journey - Week 2: WISDOM
We prepared the ground, and now we're continuing to plant.
Last week we prayed for love. This week, we're planting another seed our schools desperately need: wisdom.
📖 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach.” — James 1:5
There are hundreds of decisions made during a school week. Some are big. Most seem small. But those little decisions—how we respond, what we say, who we listen to, when we speak up, and when we show grace—can have a much bigger impact than we realize.
So this week, we're asking God for wisdom.
🍎 Teachers & Staff
Pray for wisdom in every lesson, conversation, correction, decision, and unexpected situation. Ask God to help us see beyond what is happening on the surface and recognize what our students truly need.
🎒 Students
Pray that our kids would have wisdom in their choices, friendships, words, attitudes, and actions. When they're faced with pressure or difficult decisions, pray they would have the courage to choose what is right.
🏡 Parents & Families
Pray for wisdom as parents guide their children through school, friendships, struggles, discipline, and growing independence. Ask God to give them discernment to know when to step in, when to listen, and when to let their children grow.
🏫 Our Schools
Pray for principals, administrators, counselors, teachers, and everyone making decisions that affect our students. May they lead with wisdom, compassion, fairness, and integrity.
We don't have to have all the answers.
We know the One who does.
Lord, give us wisdom for today and peace for what we don't yet know. Help us seek You first in all things.
🌱 This week, we're planting WISDOM.
