This series is a journey into the book of Nehemiah, designed to help you understand that God is still in the business of rebuilding. He uses ordinary, willing people to bring about His purposes. Nehemiah's story is more than just rebuilding a wall; it's about seeing the brokenness around you, allowing it to move your heart, seeking God in prayer, and then having the courage to rise and build your part.
Your unique call: What has God put before you?
Through "Rise & Build," we encourage you to ask: “What has God put in front of me to build?” This could be your family, a ministry, a church, the next generation, a dream, or even a part of your own life that feels like it's in ruins. You don't need the entire blueprint; you just need to be faithful with your next "yes." We'll explore how to weep, pray, listen, and when God says it's time, rise and build.
Are you ready to rise & build?
This series is for those who know God is calling them to build something, even if the blueprint isn't fully clear. Perhaps you are rebuilding your faith, family, ministry, church, calling, or yourself after a difficult season. If you are asking, “Where do I start? Why am I here? Is this burden from God? What do I do when people oppose me or I feel overwhelmed?”, then "Rise & Build" is for you. It's for the person standing before something broken, ready to move past the rubble and ask God, “What's my section of the wall?”
Tend the Wall
Yesterday we were standing on the wall worshiping. The joy could be heard far away. The wall was finished, the people were back, and it felt like we had finally reached the good part.

We are twelve days into Rise & Build, and Nehemiah 12 brings us to the moment we've been building toward from the beginning.
Home
God wasn't rebuilding Jerusalem just so everyone could stand back and admire the wall. He was rebuilding a place where His people could live, worship, raise families and become a community again.
The Contract
What if when we got saved, somebody handed us a contract and said, “Okay, sign here.” Would it matter? Would putting our name at the bottom make us think differently about the commitment we were making?
Remember who God had Been
Last night at church, my pastor said something that stuck with me, “Who remembers what a broken mess they were when they found Jesus? And how quickly we forget.”
Bring out The Book
Yesterday we talked about how the wall was never the final goal. The people were. And today we really start to see why.

Yesterday we watched the people of Jerusalem protect the wall from the enemy outside. They prayed, They stood guard and They kept building.
Keep Building
Something stood out to me in Nehemiah 4 this morning. The opposition got louder because the building was working.The wall was going up. The gaps were closing. And Sanballat was furious.
Shoulder to Shoulder
We've come across a lot of lists during our journey through the Old Testament, and by now I hope we've learned not to skip them. If God took the time to preserve the names, families, places and assignments in His Word, there's a reason they're there.
