All In-Again!
I woke up this morning different.
Leviticus teaches us that deliverance is only the beginning. God didn’t just bring His people out of bondage . He brought them out so He could dwell among them. These 14 days are about learning what it means to live set apart, aligned with His presence. Holiness isn’t legalism , it’s relationship. It’s preparing our hearts to carry the glory we say we want. Freedom brings us out. Formation draws us closer. Welcome to the ArkofHopeDailyDevotions journey through Leviticus.

This 14-day journey through Leviticus is for believers who know they’ve been delivered—but sense God is calling them deeper. It’s for those who want more than inspiration; they want formation. It’s especially for leaders, parents, and everyday disciples who desire to live set apart in a world that constantly pulls them toward compromise. If you’re hungry for God’s presence and willing to let Him shape your heart, this series is for you. It’s for the ones asking, “Lord, how do I carry what You’ve placed on my life well?”

We are nearly at the end of Leviticus. Tomorrow is our last Chapter and last day before we begin Numbers. Today we're in Leviticus Chapters 25-26. And as i was reading Leviticus 25, God says something that makes me a little nervous.

Could you imagine if the world truly honored the sabbath? I remember growing up alot of stuff was closed on Sundays, not just Chick fil a. We went to church Sunday Morning, came home for dinner and went back Sunday night. The entire day was about Jesus. When we first moved to the south I planned a family trip on a weekend. On Sunday, our last day, the town i had planned for us to explore was a Ghost town. Just about everything shut down on Sundays.

We're getting closer and closer to the end of Leviticus and I will admit to you I've been looking ahead to Numbers. Leviticus has been intense for me on a personal level. The purification process has been real and brutal. So A part of me wanted to prepare my heart for what's next.

Leviticus Chapters 19 -20 are pretty cut and dry like we read in Chapter 18 yesterday. Don't do this....and these are the consequences if you do. I like to read them in the Nlt version because it really makes it easy to understand. None of those big words that we can pretend we don't understand and wiggle our way out of a don't or two. It's pretty simple.

Levitucus Chapter 18 is a pretty simple straight forward, cut and dry, don't do these things chapter. Should be an easy read right?....

How we see God is sometimes through a distorted lense of what we've come to know through our personal upbringing and the lives we have lived.

I'm going to be really transparent about something. As I read Leviticus 12 and 13, one phrase kept jumping off the page "Ceremonially unclean."

Leviticus is not the funnest book in the Bible. Yes...I think the Bible can be fun to read. There's a little bit of everything, drama, action, battles, and yes even Romance...but Leviticus is alot of rules and regulations, a book of how to do things things that on the surface no longer apply to us. We don't have to offer sacrifice as they did. The veil is torn, Christ died for our sins... But it's there for a reason.

This morning while I was reading Leviticus 5–7, my heart just kept singing that line from We Are Messengers and their song Everything comes alive.... 🎵 My heart is beating to the rhythm of Your grace...I'll be with You in heavenly places...everything comes alive. 🎵
