Faith That Floats (and Hope Still Does Too)

Day 41 of 90 days thru the New Testament

Daily Reading Romans 4-6

I've always loved a good RomCom. You know the kind, messy love story, heartbreak, hope, redemption, and then the big moment where it all comes together... Hope Floats is one of my favorites. There's something about watching someone rebuild their life after everything falls apart, rediscovering who they are and realizing love was right there all along.

The Bible is full of RomComs if you really think about it. God and His people, it's the greatest love story ever written. There's drama, betrayal, heartbreak, and yet, grace always gets the final word. Every chapter points back to a God who keeps chasing us, redeeming us, and writing a comeback story we could never script on our own.

Romans 4 tells one of those love stories. Abraham and Sarah waited decades for a promise that seemed impossible. They messed up, laughed at Gods timing, and still, He kept His word. Because that's what love does. It keeps showing up. It keeps believing. It keeps floating, even when everything around you says it's over.

Sometimes faith looks a lot like those quiet moments in Hope Floats... We've all been there right, sitting in the wreckage, deciding to believe again. It's choosing to trust that Gods love story for your life isn't finished yet, even when the credits feel like they're rolling. Hang on, don't run out just yet

Maybe you're in that middle scene right now where nothing makes sense and you're just trying to stay above water. But can I remind you... Hope still floats. Faith still floats. And the Author of your story still specializes in happy endings.

Keep believing. Keep floating.

Because love, real, redeeming, God sized love always finds a way to bring us home.
