First Day of School

📖 Scripture: Colossians 3:23

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

The day we've been praying toward is finally here.

For the last two weeks we've been preparing the ground—praying for teachers, staff, students, parents, and families. Today, those prayers step into classrooms, hallways, buses, cafeterias, offices, and playgrounds.

Let's cover this school year in prayer one more time.

🍎 Every Teacher & Staff Member

Pray that God would give every teacher, administrator, bus driver, cafeteria worker, custodian, office staff member, and aide wisdom, strength, patience, and joy. May they know the incredible difference they make and serve with excellence as unto the Lord.

🎒 Every Student

Pray that every student would walk through the school doors knowing they are loved, seen, and created with purpose. Ask God to protect them, surround them with healthy friendships, give them a love for learning, and help them grow in wisdom and character.

🏡 Every Parent & Family

Pray for peace over every home. Ask God to strengthen parents as they encourage, guide, and pray for their children throughout this school year. May every family know they are not walking this journey alone.

Today, we ask God to bless every classroom, every conversation, every lesson, every challenge, and every opportunity.

Lord, make every classroom a place where children are loved, truth is lived out, and lives are impacted for Your glory. May this school year be filled with wisdom, grace, protection, and Your presence. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you to everyone who joined me for these 15 days of prayer. I truly believe that when we prepare the ground in prayer, God is faithful to bring the harvest.
