There is no one like our God

There is no one like our God.

Can we just rest in that for a moment...

There is no one like Our God.

Life doesn’t always feel steady. Some days feel heavy, messy and uncertain. If we're not careful, we'll start trying to carry things that were never ours to carry.

I'm pretty good at trying to fix things and trying to hold it all together. Emphasis on the trying! But when my world crumbles I know, There is no one like our God.

When Moses says this at the end of Deuteronomy 33, it’s after everything. The wilderness, The wandering, All the moments they got it wrong.

But before he says that, he goes tribe by tribe. One by one. And each blessing is different. Not rushed or generic. He didn't copy and paste. Each one was Personal, Specific and Intentional.

I love that. God doesn’t just speak over a crowd. He speaks to people individually. He knew exactly what each tribe needed. He knew where they were strong and where they needed covering. He knew what their future would require and He spoke into that.

And it makes me stop and think, God isn’t just saying something over everyone and hoping it fits me. He knows me.

He knows what I’ve walked through, what I’m carrying, what I need in this season and He’s not handing out random blessings. He’s speaking right into the details of my life.

And then Moses ends it with “There is no one like the God of Israel... The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you.” (Deut. 33:26–27)

Don’t miss who it’s coming from. Because there is no one else who sees that clearly, speaks that personally or carries us that faithfully.

God sees us Individually.

He speaks to us intentionally.

And He holds us completely.

And there is no one like Him.
