Day 9: Compassion

📖 Scripture: Ephesians 4:32

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

It's easy to judge what we can see.

The student acting out.

The exhausted teacher.

The frustrated parent.

The coworker who seems distant.

But we rarely know what someone is carrying.

Today, let's pray that God would help us see people the way He sees them. May we look beyond the behavior and recognize the heart. May we respond with compassion instead of criticism, grace instead of assumptions, and love instead of impatience.

🍎 Teachers & Staff

Pray that every teacher and staff member would have eyes to see beyond a student's behavior and recognize when a child simply needs patience, encouragement, or someone who believes in them.

🎒 Students

Pray that students would notice classmates who feel lonely, left out, or are struggling. Ask God to help them become friends who include others, show kindness, and reflect the love of Jesus.

🏡 Parents & Families

Pray that our homes would be places where compassion is lived out daily. Ask God to help parents model grace, understanding, and forgiveness so their children learn to extend that same compassion to others.

As we continue preparing the ground, let's remember that every person we meet is fighting battles we may never see. Today, may we choose to see others through the eyes of Jesus.
