Watch This
Exodus 14 is one of those chapters where God seriously says, "Watch this." He literally tells the Israelites to backtrack "Order the Israelites to turn back and camp by Pi-hahiroth between Migdol and the sea."
Now we know what's about to happen.
But They don't. To them, it probably felt like a mistake. Like God was leading them the wrong way. But in reality, God was setting them up for something amazing. And isn't that just like Him? We don't always see when God is setting us up to part the Red Sea we're standing in front of. Sometimes it feels like He's leading us backwards, into impossible places, into situations that make no sense.
Then Pharaoh shows up.
Just like God said he would.
Just like God planned.
The perfect moment to show His glory and His power!
The Israelites listened and did what they were told but when they saw Pharaoh's army coming, they panicked. I mean, who wouldn't? They're stuck between an army and the sea. No way out. Nowhere to go but swim. And they turn on Moses again... "Why did you bring us out here to die? It was better in Egypt. At least we were slaves there."Basically, This was a bad idea. Let's go back.But Moses stands his ground and says, "Watch what God will do."
And that's the question for us today....
🌟 Are you stuck between an army and a sea today?
🌟 How are you handling it?
Are you saying, "Just let me die. It was better before I stepped out and trusted God.”
Or are you standing firm, even scared, but still watching for what God is about to do?
Because we know what happens next. God shows up. The waters part. They walk through on dry land. God throws the Egyptian army into confusion so much so that even they admit, "The Lord is fighting for them." And when the Israelites reach safety, the sea closes back in. The thing that looked like their end became the very thing God used to deliver them.
And the Israelites stood in awe. And they put their faith in God!
And here it is....The Mic drop moment....
🌟 Sometimes the sea isn't blocking you. It's about to become your testimony. Sometimes God isn't leading you into danger. He's leading you into a miracle.And all He's saying is...
