On a Scale of 1 to God

Good morning...I hope your just as excited as I am this morning to read Genesis Chapters 41-43...It's a "finally" moment!

    Finally....Someone remembers Joseph...

Finally....He gets to interpret the Pharaohs dream...

And Finally Things start to make sense!

For years, Joseph's story felt stuck. He was Forgotten. One closed door after another. And then suddenly everything changes in a single day. God had been working behind the scenes the entire time, lining things up in a way only God could.

The famine that follows is overwhelming. Nations are desperate and Fear is everywhere. On a scale of one to human understanding, the problem is enormous. But God had already measured it. Long before the famine arrived, He had positioned Joseph exactly where he needed to be. Long before reconciliation was possible, God was preparing hearts on both sides.

Sometimes we need the finally moment not just to bring relief, but to bring clarity. To look back and see that the waiting, the delay, the unanswered prayers were never wasted. They were shaping us for something bigger than we could see at the time.

So today, as we read, lets pause and ask ourselves this question....How big is this problem on a scale of one to God?

Because what feels overwhelming to us may simply be the moment when God is bringing everything into alignment. The delay wasn't denial. The famine wasn't punishment. And the silence wasn't the end of the story.

When God is the one holding the scale, even the biggest problems are measured differently.

Joseph's story reminds us that God is not only able to sustain us through the problem...He is able to use it to feed others, heal families, and fulfill promises that are so much bigger than us.

So today, instead of measuring the problem by how it feels, stop and take a moment to remember who's holding the scale.

And when God is the one measuring...

nothing is ever too big.
