Day 36 of 90 days thru the New Testament
Daily reading acts 16-18
When you speak truth and lives are changed, not everyone will be happy. We see that in Acts 16. Paul and Silas spoke deliverance over a woman, cast out a demon, and ended up beaten and thrown into prison. Not everyone wants the Good News, especially when it challenges their comfort, their control, or their profit.
But what I love about this story is what happens next. Instead of sitting in the dark cell asking “Why, Lord?” they worshiped. Their praise filled the prison! And in the middle of the midnight hour, chains fell off and doors swung open, not just for them, but for everyone around them.
Thats the power of truth filled ministry. It might not always be popular. It might stir things up. But when you stay faithful and keep praising through the pain, God moves. What the enemy meant for punishment becomes a platform for revival.
Sometimes your obedience will make others uncomfortable. Your breakthrough might expose someone else's bondage. But don't let their reaction stop your worship. The same God who showed up for Paul and Silas will show up for you too and when He does, freedom won't just come for you, it will come for the ones listening nearby.
When your words shake things up, don't retreat, rejoice! The shaking is often the sound of chains breaking. Keep speaking truth, keep loving people, and keep praising in the middle of the storm. Gods about to turn your prison into a place of praise.
