Day 38 of 90 days thru the New Testament
Daily reading Acts 21-23
There's something powerful about owning your story. Paul stood before an angry crowd and didn't back down. He didn't try to make himself look better or edit the parts that might make people uncomfortable. He simply told the truth. What Jesus did for him!
For a long time, I carried shame about my past, the rough edges, the broken places, the parts I didn't want anyone to see. I thought if people really knew where I came from or what I'd walked through, they wouldn't see the calling God placed on my life. But what I’ve learned is this...My story isn't disqualifying. It is the very evidence of God's grace.
When Paul shared his story, not everyone believed him. Some got angry. Some turned away. But that didn't stop him, because his testimony wasn't about being accepted it was about being obedient.
There will be moments when standing in truth feels lonely. When sharing what God has done in your life costs you relationships, approval, or comfort. But that's when you have to drop your anchor and remember, your story isn't for everyone, it's for the ones God is trying to reach through you.
Every scar, every mistake, every comeback is a chapter that someone else needs to hear. You're not the same person you used to be and that transformation is proof of His power.
So today, tell your story. Even if your voice shakes. Even if not everyone claps. Because somewhere, someone is drowning in shame, waiting to hear that Jesus still rescues, redeems, and restores and your story might just be the life raft that pulls them in.
Faith anchors. Hope moves. Chains break.
